Call me crazy but I think Hasbro's sales loss might have something to do with them NOT PUTTING THEIR FRIGGIN PRODUCT IN THE FRIGGIN STORES & MAKING IT FRIGGIN IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEIR FRIGGIN CUSTOMERS TO FIND ANYTHING!

Of course they're going to say the opposite. Telling the truth is bad for business.

I have no idea what case they are talking about Mattel making but I'm pretty sure Barbie and Hot Wheels sold more. Sometimes writers just like to make up stories that fit their imaginings of what is happening without validating with any statistics or research. This feels like that kind of article.

Well when you charge $10.00 a figure for joes and $13.00 for star wars figures nobody gives a crap anymore.

Well of course. I propose a free Ren. CC with the purchase of an android/ios device. Problem solved

But seriously, I do blame the parents. More often than not I see an unruly kid get a smart phone or tablet shoved in its face in order to distract it or calm it down.

For Christmas my sister got me an infant iphone protector so the baby can drool and spit on it. If my baby wants an iphone then he better get a damn job.
Hes got a giant box full of gi joes just waiting for him to turn 4.
