Yeah Alvin Kibbey Hussein from Damascus. That's cool with me and the guy can act. So maybe he makes what I view as an uninteresting character cool. Beside the good news is we're not talking about Marlon Wayans.

I"m sorry, but I don't know who named these characters. IF that's Heavy Duty, at least we can hold out some hope for Terry Crews as Roadblock. Oh yeah, and that's Dial Tone, folks. There's really no question in my mind that that's who he's supposed to be.
Let's all pray that these names are there as placeholders for the characters the fans know and want. |

I don't think you're gonna see two "heavy weapons" characters in one movie. I hope the code name is Roadblock but either way I'm just happy they made another solid casting choice.

If this movie is going with the whole real life military type anti-terrorist unit (Gi Joe) an arabic communications specialist would make a hell-lota sense....Don't ya think? Imagine Cobra as a code name for Al-qaeda. I'm guessing this is where they are going with this. But that's just my opinion.

WOW, I am floored this guy was cast....I NEVER watched an episode of LOST, I know him as a NASTY character on OZ, Simon Adebisi. I snagged the last 4 seasons of Oz I needed when they were on sale at Best Buy for Black Friday, and I have been going back and watching them over the last couple weeks. This guy was WILD on that series, but his African accent was so good, I have a hard time seeing him as Roadblock. But the guy is built as hell, so he'll fill out either HD or RB as muscular, just not HUGE like Michael Clark Duncan.

But hey, he could still be from Gatlinburg, born to a couple who moved here from another country. You never know. You're right, though, about Breakers origin. He could still be from here...I was just thinking out loud I guess! ;) |

"Anything else just wasnt cool enough." Strawberrie Shortcake and Care Bears ARE cool enough, but Superheros and StarWars are not?...and if thats the case, where is My Little Pony!?...no man card for you!... |
