Well... I don´t think as the VvV as the antichrist... I really enjoyed many.. many fiugures of the line... and the best was comming in the DTC (Low Light, Mutt, Footloose, etc), but due to the lack of support or success it was cancelled and we end up with the Sigma 6 line.
Extrangely enough, rethinking e reviewing the pics of this set I think the best figure is Duke... he will be Barrelroll in my collection!!! And more Extrangely the worst figures are the officer and the trooper the "crimson" paint used looks like they where painted with glossy lipstick. hey maybe it´s a new trend... The Lipstick Guard... can you imagine? |

Not too happy to see more of the same. But I do like the repaints and dukes accessories. Wonder if we will see a bluesuit officer single carded.

Maybe you're on to something here. Perhaps they can change the name of the line again to something that will draw in a long overlooked audience, women who wear makeup. They are off to a good start with the colors and the cobra commander in an oversized shirt/dress. I can see it now, Valor vs. Revlon.

I don't really see the problem with this set being that they are repaints; it really isn't any different than the Cobra Legions repainted set which came out just as quickly in the 25th line.
perhaps they should have made the Cobra Officer in gray as a Resolute Stinger Driver and given the Cobra Trooper the jet pack and it would have been okay. |

I have to admit, the more I see of this set, the more I like it. I won't be pre-ordering it or anything drastic, but I'm pretty sure I'll pick it up when I see it.

I am so sick of repaints!!!! Once again trying to make a quick buck!!!! Can a company stick to quality!!!! God forbid make a different mold instead of pumping out the same figure with different colors!!!

This is me being close minded about the joe property but I really don't like it when the character design begins to stray from the classic looks I hold dear. I get they want and need to get the kids buying this stuff again but it keeps me from buying. And I know I have more money to waist on figures than the average 8 y/o does.
So i guess i'm left to wonder, Does anyone know what Hasbros target demo is???? Have any of you collectors seen a kid w/ a joe in his hand (besides your own child you've passed the obbsession on to)? I have yet to see a kid at Target throw a fit for joe yet. But i'm just one guy. |

ha! that was funny. Here is my objective view on this set.
pro: its a new set con: they are all repaints pro: 3 out of 5 figures are army builders con: the repackers will be stealing the black bats and putting them on ebay. pro: no snakeyes or wildbill in this set con: someone will complain that the set should of contained wildbill and snakeyes repaints. pro: the packaging is very well done with the bullet holes/wear&tear. con: people in stores will opt not to buy it because they will think the box is damaged. pro: the crimson fans will want this set for the 2 troopers con: as mentioned the troopers look like they got painted at the revlon factory. (that's hot) lol pro: army builders, resoulte fans, and customizers will all like this set. con: Hasbro likes to milk collectors for all their worth by repainting each mold 100 times and then taking that $ and making an even better mold soon after.
