Hum, i saw everything here, but there's somerthing that i didn't realized, that Ultimate Duke with the little plane has lots of retooling!
The lower arms (including hands apparently) and legs are new. And the gear is pretty smart: that helmet extra head seems to be from 5PoA Nightfox from the Humvee... This Duke is probably the first Duke that will be hard to find. Damned army builders! Quote:
You can paint easier on a light colored surface tan black. Or better, you can dye the yellow plastic into black or red if you want (you can't dye black figs)

Dyeing is hit or miss with me, and taking some 1000 grit sand paper to areas around the joints would be less work as I'm painting the whole thing black/off-black. Much prefer a black surface incase of paint rub. Your results obviously varied. |

At least hands, and knees-down is all black casting, soft plastic is a bitch to work with paint or sculpt. (funny, the picture of the package has full black legs)

There's also the Ultimate Roadblock which for some reason wasn't covered very much in the press. I think this is the only pic of him I've seen.
http://www.hisstank.com/database/att...1341198977.jpg The 3 figures shown in the pic above are probably the 3 coolest, upcoming Joe figures (good guys I mean). |

No, the delay and the "off time" of the film's release pretty much put the kibosh on any street dates. Hasbro's posted some "estimated availability" dates, but more than likely Joe will cycle onto retailer shelves in the post Christmas reset and go from there.
Remember, Hasbro still has leftover wave 1 and wave 2 stuff to sell before they get to the goodies in wave 3. That Flint (along with a new, more accurate, Roadblock and Red Ninja) were "accidentally" put on the displays during the convention. Presumably, they are slated for release after wave 4 (be it wave 5 itself with the Crimson Guard or a future wave). Gives me great hope that a movie accurate Cobra Commander is slated for release. Wave 5 doesn't have a final wave breakdown (aside from getting the Crimson Guard), nor a firm release date, probably a precaution in case Joe sales are less than stellar.

What is dark ninja? A Cobra (sounds like it)? Joe? Or Arashikage (looks like it based on the package) ?
