-And people complaint about RoC's accelerator armor's running sequence...
C'mon, it's TWO guys shooting at the first guy, which is a couple feets away. The guy escapes with babysteps, and shoots back and nobody lands a single shot. It reminds me of the ridiculous scene on resolute with Duke and Scarlett surrounded by Vipers... -I guess the old, heavy non-moustached guy is Bludd. I guess the captured guy is Beachead. I guess the grey-Camoed Scorpion is Firefly. I guess the guy punching the prisoner is Chuckles -infiltrated, actually cool-. If the guy that i guess is Stalker didn't say "Recondo" and "Lowlight", i wouldn't even guessed they where there. Too many guesses. (funny thing, Mercer does looks recognizable and cool) -The action is slow, very slow. The opening running sequence, the guy being punched... each viper could have killed Mercer twice between Lowlight's shots (if they can actually hit anything)... hell, even Tomax and Xamot look slow. No, i didn't liked it. I didn't see much GI Joe on it... I dont know what you think you remember, but no one ever got hit in the toon, the action was never that spectacular, random characters appeared everywhere mostly for no reason and storylines were never really pivotal insomuchas they rrally just called for the joes to use their new top secret shuttlebase attack chopper with solar missle firing escape pod walkers. Even if you preferred the comic more than the cartoon, which seems to be the "mature" stance, the same rules apply. I certainly dont remember main characters getting hit there, either. I get what youre saying. I really do, cuz thats not how i want to remember it either, but the fanfilm seems very gi joe to me. too much, even.

Nice job!! Impressive for low budget. Looking forward to the next episode.

Not bad but the guy playing Bludd kind of ruined it for me. What a horrible casting choice.

58-year-old Chuck Dixon running around as a Cobra Trooper in some independent film project? Highly unlikely, lol.

Everything you said combines to be the obvious reason hasbros abandoning our section of the gijoe fandom and is more than likely looking to transform what we think the brand is: this fanfilm is exactly what an episode of the cartoon brought to life would look like, man.
I understand what you mean, and maybe you're right. Most likely, this is exactly the reason why Paramount went a different way. In a cartoon it might look fine, on real filming looks... not too cool (not trying to be mean). The toons where meant to sell toys, and they showed goofy vehicles and weapons because it was advertisement for the same toys. But in the toon, that goofyness makes sense, becuase you're seeing a pair of cartoon soldiers running surrounded by lasers shoot from who knows where. In this film, that jumps right at you. The running sequence is not in slow motion, it's slow paced. The Joe runs with little short steps, and the Vipers are shooting straight at him, no all around (like the cartoon). This could have been solved with just having the joe and the Vipers behind trees, shooting at each other. *shrug* Besides, the characters aren't that recognizable. If this is meant for cartoon fans, keep them more classic. It is very obvious that "Recondo" and "Lowlight" where just anxious to show off their inks. "Recondo" would have been a lot better as Rock n Roll, for example, while "Lowlight" looks like just a tattooed grunt. As a matter of fact, those three woulkd have been cool as the Marauders. I support the effort though, and really hope it gets better, that's why i'm criticizing ;)
