i think he could do a "partial reveal" of his face... at least his eyes while putting on his... wait...
is he gonna have a V1 or V2 face shield?
guess we have to wait and see.
but yeah, they could ahve a scene of him putting the mask on, and all we see is his eyes and some scar tissue peeking out from the ninja hood. that would work. wouldnt even need to dye his hair blonde!

lifts in his shoes? why? SE isnt quite NBA status, and ray park isnt quite wee man status. he should look fine. and i think lifts might screw with his balance or something during the fight scenes. maybe.

I'm also VERY happy for Park. He was born to play characters like this, so I'm glad he got the part - now, he will no longer be just Darth Maul - he'll be freaking Snake Eyes!

And tell ya what... as massive as Star Wars is (and I'm a huge fan myself), I think Snake Eyes is bigger than Maul in every sense.

Remember, Ray Park is well known to US because we are, by and large, and I mean this as a compliment, geeks. WE know that Ray Park was Darth Maul and Toad.

To the average non-geek/fanboy/fangirl type, Ray Park is a definite "who?" So I don't think this violates the "no big name" bit given in an interview at all.

And, personally, I'm pretty happy with the casting. Snake-Eyes has to be bad-ass martial arts dude. Ray Park can do that. That's all I ask out of Snake-Eyes in the movie.

I met Ray Park at this years FX show in Orlando. He;s a really cool guy and it was great to be able to talk to him for a few minutes. He is a bit on the short side (although I'm 6'3 and alot of people seem short to me) but he still has good physical presence. Plus I don't recall snake eyes being a towering figure anyway.

Checking IMDB on Ray there I see there's a couple of other roles he's doing soon as well. Apparently he's gonna be Iron Fist and in a TV show in China called "The legend of Bruce Lee" Mr. Park is playing.......Chuck Norris!!! :eek:
