We don't get a new stinger since 1998 and how long have people been waiting for Outback? I don't consider the DTC version Outback. This one really looked like Outback. I should probably repost my thread from the general discussion about the toy factory closure here. I thought something was up. Now this just confirms it. Could this effect future joe product?

"I keep reading about these worker riots in China... just last week a couple thousand people busted up a Hasbro plant. Makes me wonder if these aren't part of the issue."
This was about the delay that DST has in getting a Star Trek wave out. I hadn't heard about a worker riot at a Hasbro plant and it could be that this guy got Hasbro confused with another company but if true it could explain a few things and I wonder if this plant had the Outback vehicle wave that was canceled? |

Tell us what is going on instead of leaving us all hanging not knowing if this are permanently canceled, if the whole classic vehicles line is canceled or if its just postponed.

I doubt its that classics have been cancelled. However the reason we haven't heard anything may be because the reason for the cancellation has to do with legal action. Which could be the case if 1000 workers destroyed their product. I'm sure Hasbro would be seeking damages and legal action. If they come out with some type of statement too early or before all "discussions" from all sides have been dealt with it could work against them in court if they have to take that route.
That's my guess at this point anyway.

I had a situation like this happen to me recently with the IG SRO 3 pack. TRU notified me that they would cancel my backorder and remove them from their website a month ago. They said that a limited number were made and shipped but they were considering them cancelled and did not anticipate getting anymore stock. I asked them if it was just a delay hoping they would keep my backorder in the system and they wouldn't clarify.
Really want the Stinger and Strato-Viper... |
