Will we find out where that scar came from in the cartoon? Who knows, but it gives us something to speculate!
| I got this scar on my face during a mighty struggle.
Decent looking fig.

I found a case of these last night at my local Walmart. What's odd about the case is the case comes with a v.1 Snake Eyes. Yet, on the back of the cards, where it shows the "other team members," it shows this Snake Eyes as if it is a new figure. I don't see any differences between this Snake Eyes and the 5 pack (or wave 5) Snake Eyes. Oh, well. If it was a ploy to get me to buy another Snake Eyes it worked.
By Blowtorch has a big chunk of missing paint in his hair. Grrr. nd he's very, very loose. Looks like I'll have to do some minor surgery.
I also found all 3 of the new comic packs last week. They're all repaints. The Viper and Iron Grenadier 2 pack is such a let down. I was hoping for some cool variant, something. (Such as the Crimson Guard 2 pack having the Fred with removable helmet.).
The only difference I see is the Iron Grenadier has a black pistol instead of a red one.
The Cobra Commander (Fred) and Gung Ho are cool for repaints. I actually enjoy the colors on this Gung Ho better than the one we got in the 5 pack, even through the 5 pack was more of a throwback to the original, which I usually like better. So, that's neat. And this Gung Ho doesn't have floppy legs, either.
The other two pack has a repainted Deep Six and is honestly, forgettable. I should have passed on this one. Like I should have passed on that Snake Eyes.
But...
Hasbro's got me.
And honestly, I don't feel any remorse. Keep them coming Hasbro! And...here's to hoping I find wave 12 soon. And the previous release of the comic packs! :-)

I've read the reviews and all, but I have to say that Hasbro did a great job on these resolute figures. Great gear, sculpt and accessories. I may have to order more and see if a head swap with the original is possible. |

I want a Duke that is going to lead his men into combat. Not a Duke that just rolled up his sleeves to play ping-pong. I've ordered two more to use as custom-fodder. Let's see whose head I can pop onto that body. I might make a whole squad of tactical Joes. |

The resolute duke outfit works really well as a toy. I'm a big time classic person, so for me to like a modern design this much is rare. I wanted to skip buying resolute stuff, but guess not.
As some have said the only downfall on the figure is his gun and knife don't fit anywhere besides his hands. |
