Thanks to Sand for sending us Images of his G.I. JOE 25th Anniversary Duke in Crimson Guard Disguise KitBash. It looks like Fans will have a very easy time creating this quick change Custom.

Wait a minute, did he make the helmet hollow or do all the Crimson Guard figures in the next wave have removable helmets?

Perhaps it's just the entire head from another CG. The first 3 pics show a CG with Duke head holding a CG head. Then the last 2 show another complete CG.

Just my guess.

If you look real good you can see Duke's eyes under the Helmet.

I have not seen any pics with a removable helmet until now. But this is a custom.

There is a Star Wars POTF Shadows of the Empire Luke Skywalker disguised as a Imperial Guard. Maybe they used the helmet from that Luke for the base of the helmet on that Duke and just altered it to look like a crimson guard's helmet.

i was fooling around with the heads on the wave 5 guys too. you can do the whole unreleased Duke/SE/Gung ho as CGs set with 25th guys. they look pretty cool. Another cool thing you can do with the wave 5 Snow Job is swap heads, and make arctic versions of several Joes. the ones that look good are: SE V1, Duke, Beachhead, and either version of Storm Shadow.
