lol...how did I miss those pics...damn slow internet loading.
In that first pic on page six...with that angle and both side by side out of the package...the diaper crotch one looks strange to me. Must be cause I'm used to seeing the figures the other way. Either way...I like the ability to sit..and the non-leaning back in poses.

I think its funny that Hasbro changed the molds for the 200-300 vocal people on the boards that own vehicles from the 80's.
I think most casual people could care less how they look its just the folks on the boards who are always at odds. Having said that they look better without the update.

i gotta say, as much as i think the 25th figures are awesome, i really was disappointed in there lack of mobility ~ I really was expecting them to be as posseable as the super-articulated Clone Trooper from Star Wars ~ so i'm all for this ~ can't wait for wave 5 Snake-Eyes.
Now bring on a bicep swivel and we'd be golden!

The only thing I don't like about the fixed crotch is that it appears that the fix makes the torso look too short. And I always hated short torsos on Spy Troops. Maybe it's just the angle.
Hopefully the weirdness will only apply to the fixed figures, and that newer molds will look better, since they will (probably) be sculpted with the new crotch initially. |

Oh, and I do hope Hasbro will concentrate on fixing the molds that reeaallly need it. Stalker/SE was okay (although not perfect). I'll only be pissed if they fixed those but don't fix Duke and Scarlett.
Destro, CC and Zartan for instance all sit reasonably well and look good. Tampering with those would be a waste of tooling dollars, IMO |
