Panini Gets GI JOE COMIC LICENSE!!
in some way fashion or form Panini has the GI JOE License presumably in Europe so I posted a cover up here on

thought i'd share this image which i've been finally given the green light to show. i did this piece for panini for a pitch to hasbro to bid for the license to publish a g i joe comic that will coincide with the movie next year. the great news is panini won the bid. so yay! hopefully aside from my spiderman duties, if time permits and my editor agrees, i'll get a chance down the line to maybe dabble in some joe strips. colours by the talented jeremy roberts.

now THAT is some spectacular artistry, not like that Graham Crackers Comics Exclusive cover for G.I. Joe #1 (which was really cheesy and just plain drawn bad, sorry to say).

He looks more menacing here than he does in the movie shots, or at least the first shot we got with his mask on and swords drawn. There is a lot of detail on his costume that is obscured since it is almost all white with no trim, such as the arm lacing and wrapping, hopefully we will see the costume's finer details such as the ones I mentioned in the comic.
