HissTank has come across Official Casting Call information for the G.I. Joe Live Action Movie 2009. Casting directors Jeff Mitchell and Jennifer Rudolph have sent out information seeking two actresses in connection with the "Untitled Stephen Sommers Project."
Role #1 is listed as The European Female in her 20s, Smart, Beautiful,Deadly and the Other is an American Female early 30s, Smart, Beautiful, Deadly. These 2 roles can only be for Two such characters The Baroness and Scarlett. To discuss this topic click the Title Bar.

Awesome. Good to see the ball finally rolling. Seems young for the Baroness, but hey, wait and see is the only thing to do at this early stage.

late 20's the absolute youngest for Baroness...IMO

i agree Gen. Scarlett, i'm really starting to understand what it would mean for a more known actor, who is known for another role, to try to pass off a role in a movie that it's audience wants it to have it's own identity, it's "own" actor's.
ex. trying to have Daniel Radcliffe in any movie (ever)...i will always consider him Harry Potter. |

Just a bit of info-Ewan MacGregor did not want to do any roles as he was portraying Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequels. He knew that it would make for difficulties transistioning and/or distancing from this character to others.....for the movie-goers, not him...;)
