I opened up the Sunday paper this morning, and after looking through all of the sale ads to see if there were any sales on Joes (there almost never are), I pulled out PARADE magazine, a free magazine that comes in most Sunday papers around the country. I don't really read it, but I like to skim the questions on the first page, which are directed toward Hollywood stars and such. I opened up the first page, and a picture of the Hawk action figure from wave 9 catches my eye. There is a question for Dennis Quaid regarding the new Joe movie.
Here is the Q & A:
Q How did Dennis Quaid prepare himself to portray General Hawk in the big-screen version of G.I. Joe, the popular cartoon series. And when can I see the film? —Ralph H., Miami, Fla.
A “The prep is to get buff—you can never be too buff,” jokes Quaid, 54. “I also watched a lot of the cartoons. It was fun, because they added things like making my aide-de-camp a Victoria’s Secret supermodel. That definitely wasn’t in the original. And I get my second action figure. The first was for Dragonheart, and one is up in my attic somewhere.” G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is due out next summer.
I also posted a link, but online there is no picture of the action figure, just Mr. Quaid.

It kind of makes me interested to see the figures since he says he will "get my second figure". At least we know there is likely to be a new head sculpt.
