Sadly... this is what happens when you re-create every SS, SE & CC that has ever been made in less than 1 year and you have nothing to go to but VvV designs.

What's so not visually appealing about these? If Hasbro would of never said that these were for the VvV DVD pack and instead they are just from wave 14 or something I bet people would of had a different opinion. Honestly how does Duke,Storm Shadow and CC look unappealing?

I like the COBRA Commander.
I won't get this set 'less it's on serious clearance, though. |

Not a bad set, but for the love of God do we need more of these characters? This type of garbage is the reason I gave up on having a complete set and sold off my MOSC 25th collection. I refuse to keep buying the same characters over and over, so Hasbro lost all of my business on this line. I know some of you will say I am retarded, but for me it's all or nothing. Everyone has different collecting habits.

I think we would have seen far more complaints had these guys been on single card, in separate waves, taking up precious space that could be used by characters such as Lowlight, Lifeline, Alley Viper, Night Viper, etc. If that happened, everyone would complain about having to see Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, Duke, or Snake Eyes yet again in a wave. With this set it makes it easier to avoid these characters if you are tired of them, and hey none of them take up spots in the single pack line. This is a win/win situation for kids and collectors alike. Kids don't know who alley vipers or night creepers are, but we do, and we want them(and hey look Alley Viper is in a single pack wave instead of one of the 4 in the greatest battles pack). Kids do know who Cobra Commander, Duke, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadow are, and they would want them over characters we would want in the single pack waves. For a guy like me that liked the "new sculpt" line and designs, this battle pack is worth buying. |
