| Worst part about this sorta crap is that they conveniently package a horrible figure, in which very few want, along with a vehicle that most people want. Which of course equates to getting you to buy both the Shipwreck/Copperhead comic pack as well as the Water Moccasin boxed set, just so that you can have ONE correct set.
Of course Hasbro fails to realize that people like myself, and there seems to be more and more of us each day, whom refuse to buy just ANYTHING have also become more and more picky as well. MOC collectors also will just end up doing without as whats being packaged TOGETHER SUCKS, then to fall for this scheme.
Either package the correct Copperhead with Water Moccasin in the SAME box or don't bother. Same applies to the upcoming Ripper. Is anyone seriously gonna buy that? Package it to how people want it in the first place and call it a day. Seriously, did Hasbro actually somehow benefit by not initially packaging Ripper and Torch as singles with the original outfits then to do it in the way in which they did?
The new FANG and CLAW boxed set is no exception. Keep pumping out these wacky color combos along with ideas that you "think" will make you money. Aren't these the ideas that made people disinterested in the late 80's in the first place? YEY a PINK GUN!!
Stay true to what kept this line strong when it debuted a year ago with the classic looks, both figure and card if you want to be successful........ IMO.
It's no wonder that people are becoming more and more picky and that these things are starting to warm shelves all over. It has LITTLE to do with the economy or upped production levels. We all know that if Hasbro did what they should, people would find a way and buy it. It's a lack of interest by what's being put forth for the most part to why people refrain from buying.
