I am also a fan of the Python Patrol line. I don't really care about the colors not being realistic, I just think they are cool. If I cared about realism, I wouldn't have bought a Nemesis Enforcer. IMO, the Python Patrol and Tiger Force were fun subsets of the GI Joe line, and I love them.

Python Patrol alway reminds me of those really bad episodes of the GI Joe cartoon series. I know they are repaints with questionable color choices and they were repaints originally. The difference to me the figures is that when they were released in the late 80s it had been several years since we had seen cobra troopers and copperhead etc. on the shelves. Back then it was totally rad to see those in the stores so I can understand why some collectors see these as douchey. I will buy a CG and a Viper when they're released.

I'm a huge Python Patrol fan but I don't like this Copperhead. I would much rather they paint a shirt on the guy like the original.

Oh yeah, and why would the PP color scheme be considered unrealistic for a jungle combat team? I would imagine you'd have a much harder time seeing PP Crimson Guard in the jungle than a guy in a bold crimson uniform.

i bought an extra copperhead CP was soon as the moccasin was shown as comfirmed. that python crap wasnt going to cut it for my favorite trashy, gulf coast drifter.
