Cool to see another interview, but still, nobody is giving away much about the movie. They keep regurgitating the same stuff.

Hasbro/Paramount should be thanking their lucky stars that The Rock and Bruce Willis agreed to do this movie. That crap movie Journey 2: The Mysterious Island made lots of money I think and that probably had a lot to do with The Rock and it being a family friendly film. That formula should replicate itself with Retaliation IMO.

Rise of Cobra aka RoC made 302 million worldwide. Not to mention Journey 2 was a sequel so you expect it to do well. People forget that RoC did really well. Whether you liked it or not there's no denying the box office numbers.

^ True enough... but box office is almost always about the expectations game and ticket sales vs. the movie's budget.
I think ROC cost a lot and didn't make as much as was expected. Journey 2 cost less and made a lot. And the first Journey movie Journey to the Center of the Earth is actually one of my fav movies, but it starred Brendan Fraser and I don't think it did too well at the box office. I doubt too many people who saw Journey 2 even saw the first one; I think the sequel's success had a lot to do with The Rock.
