That's true too. A HISS II would have been awesome. I wish they would modify the main cannon a bit though, it looks really sci-fi-y.

I think he's using the FLAK to try to get a better shot with his gun. Sorta climbing it like a tree, or something.

basically take the more realistic aesthetic of Mark I (with better modern sculpting and detail like they did to the vamp) but with the Mk IIs lowering 2-man cockpit, larger size and troop carrying aspect...

Very cool set of vehicles. I am not a big fan of Outback but will be happy to add him to my collection as well as the others...I am super excited about the vehicles from this wave. The only Stinger i had when i was a kid, didn't have the missile rack. It was a garage sale find. So it will be cool to have a complete Stinger. All in all, i would say this is the best wave yet...

For me the Sharc Tooth and Firebat have been the best so far. That being said, there really is no denying how cool Outbook (at least from the side) and that new Stratoviper look! This of course begs the question; is this Wave anticipated because of its drivers or because of the vehilces? For me, its the former. Granted, I love the Stinger and that Arctic HISS, but really, it's the figures I'm here for.

I have been getting all of the vehicle figures off of ebay because I don't collect the vehicles. These new figures look unbelievably good, though!! Strato-Viper's helmet looks a little too angular instead of round but otherwise he looks awesome. Outback is perfect except for his missing backpack. These figures also have me really puzzled. How is it that Hasbro can make these guys look so damn good yet they failed so bad at making a decent Steeler, Cutter, Grunt and Short-Fuze (who all should have been much easier to do than these two figs)? Anyways, seeing how good these two figures turned out gives me hope that the upcoming Tunnel Rat, Shockwave and Blowtorch figures won't be disappointing.
