PM me offlist.

If Doc is going to come carded, I want 2. If he just comes in a plastic bag like SS Unmasked, then one will be sufficient for me. |

I think I have 18 Battle Points, plus whatever was on the box for the DTC H.I.S.S. I'll probably have to look for some extra points on eBay, or something. Edit: Just saw this... Quote: |

I forget, do any of the 25th Anniversary Single Figures or I guess the 5 packs have battle points or flag points on them? I have a lot of extra Cobra Trooper Cards that I have not cut up yet and I'm not sure if I remember seeing any points on them.
If that is not the case, then what is the purpose then of using old battle points/flag points when some people like me have been buying many of the new 25th anniversary items since this is what I prefer...?

Jason | The purpose is to allow long time collectors the chance to get extras.

Jason | the purpose of the mail away is to essentially encourage the purchase of select toys -- in this case, the comic packs. it is safe to say that customers of the comic packs are also customers of the rest of the 25th line, so these customers are rewarded with a free figure for buying the comic packs.
as far as older points, Hasbro also wants to reward customers who have been loyal customers of not only this line but past lines as well. if you did not like the new sculpt figures and did not buy them, then you are not rewarded the same as those who were who have purchased more product, thus they are rewarded for that. and trust me, if you have 150 points, you bought a lot of bad figures -- that alone deserves some sort of reward.
essentially, you have two types of current Joe customers:
25th collectors - if they want Doc, they can get him by purchasing select 25th product.
25th and past collectors - buy the 25th comic pack s as well as redeem older points for additional figures. these customers are rewarded for being 25th collectors as well as collectors of past lines. |

If anybody would like the Flag Points, please drop me a line. I only ask that you let me hop on your order as one of the 3 additional Doc figures. I'll pay the 4.95 s&H (or whatever that exact amount is) |
