I have more than enough battle points for the three additional Docs, which would make getting the comic packs worthwhile. the question is, do I wait for 6 packs that are worth buying and risk supplies running out because of the battle points option, or bite the bullet and buy the first 6 comic packs.

There's still a lot of collectors out there with a lot of leftover flag/battle points.
If Hasbro required too few FPs/BPs, they would completely run out of Doc figures in a "heartbeat" <---snirk! Hey Omegawrath, how many was that you had again? -PJ |

Guys, keep in mind that each "flag/battle" point is worth a different sum of points. Everyone keeps on saying OMFGWTFBBQ over 50 points...but considering that, as GunSlinger pointed out, we aren't using them for anything else...it really shouldn't be that big of a deal.
Now, if it was 500 points I'd be bitchin' louder than anyone. But 50? Meh. That's nothin' ;) |

I just cut and counted the Battle Points from my second box of Joes and it had 263 points not counting the single packs which as I stated earlier I would not cut because of the art. I have a total of 395 cut but I may have a comic pack (5 points), maybe a 6-pack or two (10 points), and maybe some from vehicles that I haven't found so I should have a little over 400. I was hoping for a few more but that should leave me with 350 for future mail-ins if they continue to let us use them.

It's nothin for you old-timers who have been into Joes for a while. But none of the DTC stuff had points did they? I got back in to Joes with a few of the DTC figs, and then really when the 25th stuff came out. Plus that's 5 6-packs, or around $150 worth of points, for Doc.
EDIT: Heh, listen to me complain, just cause I can't have my way! ;) |

EDIT: Heh, listen to me complain, just cause I can't have my way! ;) As for the 6-packs, 5 would be $100 since at the time they were $20 each. It would be about $91 for 13 2-packs (52 points) if they were $7 a pack or $65 if they were $5, I can't remember the price at the time. If you look at it that way paying $60 for 6 comic packs for the stickers isn't that bad price wise. Still 50 points is a little high.
