I'm pretty sure Hasbro said point blank it was going to take 6 comic packs to get Doc. Unless they say otherwise, all this, "no, it'll just be 3" it's just wishful thinking.

Now if you can confirm that it's just one point per comic pack well then that's a different story. I'll beleive it when I see it has been my take on it. |

Quoted from Shogi's 25th Anniversary Figures FAQ on this very board, gleaned from the Hasbro Panel at the JoeCon:
MAIL-AWAYS Doc will be the mail away figure for spring 2008. Hasbro has said he will be carded to look like the retail 25th figures. To get Doc, fans will have to send in 6 proof of purchase stickers from the Comic Packs.

So my question is this does anyone know the point value? I'm thinking that if it's a comic pack then it's got to be 2 points. I know as of right now there are no flag points on the 5 or singles packs. Just my thought http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showth...?t=1725&page=4 So which is it Flag Points or Stickers? Again I'll believe it when I see it. Or call Hasbro myself which has worked many times before to getting questions answered. |

Hey Blowtorch, I haven't heard a value associated with the upc stickers yet. At Joe con the Hasbro panel answered someone's question about flag points saying yeah we'll use them. Then after that, Hasbro answered the bi monthly Q&A with the answer I put in the 25th figures FAQ. Since that was the most recent thing we've heard from them I'll believe that for now. (I really hope I'm proven wrong when the Comic Packs are released in Janurary, I have way too many battle points saved up from Spytroops and VvV )

Thanks for the help. Either way I plan on getting Doc and the comic packs so it doesn't matter. Someone (and I don't remember who) made the remark of sending in his Flag Points along with the actual requirements for Doc. I'm going to give it a shot too after all I didn't save these Flag Points from Spytroops and VvV for nothing. I still think it's stupid to not allow those either. |

So who wants my silver PDD? Still sealed since I was half expecting this. How much do you want for PDD? I wish I had bought the gold PDD as I was online when they went on sale on Hasbro's website. I only got a Transformers SDCC exclusive (Hot Rod) as I wasn't into Joes again yet. Quote:

Tough to fight the addiction isn't it? I started with the 1st Cobra box set a month ago saying I just wanted some key characters. Now I'm already trying to build my Cobra army and looking at vintage 80's vehicles online. At least I'm trying to limit multiples purchases of the same character and just trying to pick the best version that will be released (this is mainly with the figures included in the Joes box set, which I don't have yet). Of course I may have to buy figures I don't like as much (I won't need yet another SS & SE) just to get Doc. |

The climax of World War III will be fought in the toy aisles.
Will scammers get to the POP stickers before everyone else? Witness the horror of collectors who find nothing but hollowed-out comic pack shells!!! Which side will the mercenary Customer Associate and Department Manager side with? WILL the secret stash be found hidden behind the lawn mowers? THRILL to the 100% brawls-to-the-walls FULL-FORCE ACTION!!!111 Yeah, this would make a great video game. Me, I'm grabbing a weighted-down shopping cart for my forward offensive support, and a bag of marbles for my retreat. -PJ |

Bah, I'm not going to deal with the Anger Management issues that would arise if I purchased the CPs at Brick & Mortar stores, got them home and realized that the UPCs are gone. Fudge that.
