Now to obsessively go through the movie and look for all the GI Joe references

I went to Wal-Mart for the cartoon and I was lucky to get a copy at Block Buster with the free MP3 player.

Everybody take screen caps of the G.I. Joe Content!

I'm passing on it. I'll wait the year and a half for the uber extended Blue Ray Transformers 2 sneak preview version when Paramount's exclusive contract with Toshiba expires.

Me too, however, i don't have a 1080p TV (yet) so it wouldn't have done me any good other than watching it 720p. I'm sure before Transformers 2 they'll have it released on Blue Ray once whole HD-DVD deal expires.

Kinda on the fence right now on which one to purchase, i thought about the Wal*Mart one with the cartoon but kinda want the 2-Disc special edition one too.

I'm still peeved that Prime wasn't a snub-nose semi, Megatron was a jet and the fact that they didn't crash into a dormant volcano 4 million years ago.

I work at a movie theater and discovered that some movies mostly the big ones like Transformers arrive with fake names on the case that holds the reels of film. This is most likely to hide what movie it actually is to help prevent the possiblity of pirating it.

An example would be Harry Potter 5 was called "The Raven". The fake titles seems to have some connection with the film. I believe that "No Reservations" which the 2 characters are working in a kitchen was called "Cooking Lessons".

Transformers was called "Cobra". I'm guessing there is a connection between that and GI Joe (another Hasbro product). Any thoughts...

Awesome info! My thoughts on the whole renaming reels (I also heard that the last reel of the movie was under lock until the first showing) is that it's unneccesary....I know a pirater that had a dvd copy of it the day after it opened!

Yes, I remember that, they said half the movie was locked until 1 hour before it was to be shown late on Monday 07.02.07.
