Hasbro: For using existing tooling the design team has to come up with tooling that both fits the figure and is available (not in production). In the case of Falcon, the Duke arms were available. Your feedback has been heard and we will see what we can do about this in the future.
| this is what I've been saying -- it is one of the most basic fundamentals of any sort of manufacturing.

3. Have you given any thought to a "viral campaign" for the upcoming live action movie? The Dark Knight executed this perfectly and some would say that's a big part of the film's huge success. Paramount did this with Transformers last year; can we expect a repeat for the upcoming G.I. Joe film in 2009 as a way to get fans involved?
Hasbro: Paramount will be running the marketing campaign for the live action movie, so it's not really a question we can answer - but maybe it has already started and you have not found it online yet...
| Has this been found / covered already or is this a new bit of info?

I suspect as '09 gets rolling we'll see more.

Justin | I really wanted one of those too! Kevin tried to pick one up for me but the lines were too long.

Bingo. The people who decide which figures will be in which waves and the design team need to get on the same page.
Simply holding off Falcon for a wave until the Tiger Force Flint production run was over would have made everybody happy. There was no rush, after all.

this is what I've been saying -- it is one of the most basic fundamentals of any sort of manufacturing. | thats true, you have been saying this...but this is what i have been saying...if the right tooling isn't available for a particular figure why make it at that time?...why not wait till the right mold is ready and THEN make it accurately...in the case of Falcon, if the TF Flint arm mold is in use, wait till they are not, THEN create a correct Falcon...make a different fig in his place
