no super Targets here...good thing I preordered.
$24 for shipping? I assume you must have ordered 4 planes. I ordered 2 and the shipping is $12, which seems plenty reasonable to me. I saved over $10 on my order anyway (AAA and a gift card).

They are not online only. They never were online only. I think the post a few above yours is pretty clear, there are tens of thousands of these being shipped to stores. Some stores might not have them, but many (most?) will. The suggested price is $24.99, which is what many stores will sell them at. Based upon info I've seen elsewhere from a Target employee, it is possible some stores will sell them for slightly more.
The whole online only thing was a bunch of people on here panicking, continually repeating this even though several Target employees have been in this thread stating that these are in some stores already (waiting for the set date), that they will be in other stores. THESE ARE NOT ONLINE ONLY. THESE WILL BE IN STORES. If you paid $28 online plus shipping, you can save yourself gas and running around and potentially missing out on finding these in your Target stores, plus they might reduce the online price (although there is no guarantee, as with most retailers the online store and the bricks and mortar store are run as separate entities and prices may not match between them). |

I believe that was a comment about the box art for the Conquest, but I may be wrong.

Just remember, if they ship them to you and then you find them later, you can buy them at retail then return them using the invoice of the higher priced ones including the shipping.
It's what I plan on doing if I find them in stores. of course, only the conquest. Don't want any of those. |

To return an item purchased on Target.com:
Most items on Target.com can be returned to a Target store or by mail. You will need the order number or a gift receipt/packing slip in order to return a purchase from Target.com using our Online Returns Center. To find out if your item can be returned to a Target store, visit our Online Returns Center. The "Method of return" drop-down box will let you know where the item can be returned and allow you to choose which return method you'd like. If you select the “Store” drop down, your receipt will appear and you will be prompted to print the receipt. You must have an in-store receipt from our Online Returns Center in order to return a Target.com item to a store. If you choose to return your item to a store, shipping and handling and gift-wrap charges cannot be refunded. |

Protip: If you wanna talk about store policies, please be aware of them, otherwise you aren't so correct. I thought Target was the same. however, the price difference is still $4 less in stores. Either way, it's still safer to have them preordered and find them than not preorder and NOT find them. |

Or you could just order from your local Target backroom if you know the correct person.
