Guys, take the info that we all already (should) know and put it in to perspective:
Hasbro shops product around early. In this case, Target raised their hand and said they would pick up the vehicle exclusives (rattler/conquest). Target has to buy at least X amount to justify the production run. That said, I doubt that these will not be available again (via Target.com OR Target stores). Sure, we have a lot of members here, as there are surely more fans around the 'net that scored these as well. If we assume, just for the sake of argument, that 600 people ordered 2 of each. That's only 2,400 pieces. Correct me if I'm wrong, but why would there be a run of only 2400 pieces? Wouldn't the cost involved with production, logistics, etc., actually end up costing more than gross profit? I'm not going to worry until later on this month/beginning of next month. They needed 3500 preorders for each figure for it to go into production. Said company is not very big, much smaller than Hasbro. For them to say, "Hey 3500 is the -lowest- number of these we can make" means that a company like Hasbro's "lowest number" has to be at the very very least triple that, more than likely (10,500, which makes sense with what Ewokhunter said). There'll be plenty of these to go around, they just didn't want to bite off more than they could chew at the time, or at least for the online orders.

i haven't read thru the 4 pages of replies, but my guess is that they don't want to take the risk on such big items for GI*JOE...does Target even carry the Falcon?...maybe it's a space issue...either way, all of Targets previous exclusives have been re-released in some form to mass market or are soon to be, but we may have to deal with re-release red/gray/black Rattlers

I imagine that Target's commitment to Star Wars eclipses it's dedication to the new improved G.I. Joe toy line. Consider this; Target's resets included a larger SW section, major advertisement of the CW movie which included Target's own CW exclusive 'Commander Fox' and still you can only find two $100 'AT-TE' vehicles in any given store even though that item is mass-produced to all of Target's competitors. Now realize the $25 G.I. Joe vehicle is a Target only exclusive in comparison to the last $10 G.I. Joe exclusive some of which were clearance out at $2.48. Hmm...
