I've seen this collection before.....and the one thing I wonder is......how in the world are they up there, when they are all at a slant ?

But still, I'd go home with quite a bit. In one day, I took home a Condor, a Phantom, a HISS II, a Piranha, and a buttload of Tiger Force figures. I didn't have my driver's license yet, so I talked the guy into putting everything in an empty shipper for the Barbie horse ranch playsets. That bus driver was pissed. The passengers just stared. Best score of my life. The point being that there was little enough competetition at the time, that this same dude at Toy Traders didn't have much problem getting all his. We really were in the right place at the right time. -PJ Last edited by Tin_Trencher; 10-08-2007 at 07:30 PM.. |

There used to be a "101 uses" faq out there for its usefulness with Joes. A low-heat hot glue gun should be part of every collection. Just as one example: For my '83 HQ dio, I stored my clip-on guns, camera, and spotlight safely away, since they break so easy. In their place, I got some cheap broken spots, cameras, and guns, and then hot glued them in place. Win-win. -PJ |

By far, the easiest way to score Joes is to sideswipe the scalper on his way through the parking lot. -PJ |
