Cobra Legions 5 pack Available @ target.com

i checked all my local targets today and nothing but one cobra pack, 5 pack which i already have. i have yet to find ANY carded figures at either target, walmart or toyrus.
it's amazingly frustrating when i have all these local stores and NEVER seem to find any of the actual products (gi joe's and transformers) at any of them. i would rather buy instore however the internet seems to be the only place to actually find anything anymore.

yeah i totally agree. I am at the point where I am ready to quit toy hunting. I really enjoyed building up my TF G1 collection over ebay. I think this is the way to go with the joes too. Even if they are in the store. Just much less frustrating. With scalpers and store freaking RANDOMLY getting figures it is just no fun anymore.

Yeah, I agree. I just got back into Joes earlier this year, and was looking forward to the thrill of finding Joes in the stores like when I was a kid, but after going time and again to see shelves that were emptied by scavengers. . .forget it. I'm pre-ordering them, I'll get them off Hasbrotoyshop if I'm lucky, or I'll get them off eBay and pay the extra. . .though I must say that I personally would be thrilled to see the Cobra 5 pack at the store. . .

Hey karamazov80 this is a little off topic but I just noticed your avatar and Im a huge alternators collector. Can you post that custom or a link to pics for that bad boy?

Sure, that's a Ratchet custom that I had been working on a while back, and never really got to finishing. . .but despite this, I wanted to add a distinctive avatar here, and as I ran across his picture looking through my files I thought, "why not?" Here are some bigger pics:





He still needs a lot of work, his vehicle mode is just plain white, for instance, and I need to paint those crosses on, but he looks pretty good as a wee avatar, I think.

And below is my G1 Alt/Classics crew (Red Alert hangs out on that shelf from time to time, as well). The heads for Ratchet and Ironhide come from a guy on the TF boards named Valkfan, who did an amazing job, and the bodies are obviously Scions, which I think best suits those bots that I really loved from the show:

I found one on 10/7/07 at walmart, live near Cleveland Ohio. I love the way it looks and the song is great.
