They are both at retail now, and while I have yet to see the Legions 5-pack, I saw wave 2 singles at several stores, or at least the remains of the 1st shipment. Back when the 1st wave hit it seemed like online retailers had them way before Wal-Mart or Target. I'm glad that at BBTS you can cancel a pre-order, at Brian's Toys you can't and I am stuck with some I ordered before I found them in the store (if they ever ship).

I actually cancelled my preorder for wave 2 at bbts and bought them off ebay. I got worried after the email stating they couldn't produce the single pack officers they had listed.
I sent bbts an email asking the status of the cobra legions 5 pack. Any word I receive from them I will be sure to post here. |

Shortly after i sent the e-mail i checked their site and they updated the Arrival date to October.... that ticked me off. No response from them.... |

I just sent an email to their customer service and they canceled without problem. |

Another weird thing about the distribution of this line is that back in mid July the first place I saw wave 1 was at a TRU in SC. I also found some later that day at a TRU in GA. I figured that since this was a special line, and there had not been any 3 3/4 Joes out for some time maybe TRU would be one of the big retailers stocking them. Since that time I have not seen any at a TRU. Actually I have seen a few 5 packs, I can't tell if they are shelf warmers or new shipments, but no new carded figures. A guy who works at my local TRU is kind of in the know but not a collector. Today I stopped in for the first time in a month or so, he told me that they had not gotten any 25th stuff in since this summer, and that the distribution warehouse for this area told him that they did not have any. I have noticed at several TRU's they have minimized their Joe section to almost nothing, and don't have any pegs for 25th single cards (but tons of other military toys). I thought it was strange that they announced two TRU exclusives for 2008 when the company does not seem to be really supporting the line?

Hi,
We unfortunately do not have any more accurate arrival date information on this product, sorry. Manufacturers often do not tell us when items will be ready until the items are either in transit to us or about to ship to us. Manufacturers also often experience delays in the production or shipping of products so its hard to establish a specific release date. We will update our listings if more specific release & arrival information is known.
Thanks!
Jessica

Jessica must be the name they gave the computer that automatically answers emails to customer service with a polite "we don't know anything about the products we put up for sale on the internet, thanks come again".

why bother doing single packs, when you can get all 5 characters in one packaging. it makes us a lot easier to grab the toys, rather than looking around.
