If this line does well, there WILL be statues. I confirmed it with a SS employee this past sdcc.

Anyways, already got my preorder in for it. Can't wait. |
There were a few cancelations, it was mentioned in last weeks newsletter as well i think. they said that gtting on the waitlist for the ex edition would likely yeild getting one that week. Quote:

In my opinion, Sideshow is moving too slow with releases.at 4 per year, dont count on seeing alot of characters and the line not lasting a long time | You've obviously got no idea how sideshow does buisness mate. With the buisness partnership between sideshow and hasbro, and how fast the exsclusive sold out, I can forsee this line lasting a LONG time. they only do 4-6 star wars figures a year, and 1-2 dead figures a year, and those lines are going VERY strong, and have been for YEARS.
Trust me, the GIjoe line is here to stay. by keeping their releases stagered, sideshow is going to keep people salavating, as well as keep the releases far enough apart so that people can aford them. |

Will G.I.Joe stay for years to come? with the economy in the shitter. at 2-3 releases a year and people not being able to afford them. I dont see it lasting past 8 characters at $100-120 a piece. I want the line to suceed, but I dont see it lasting as long as you think.
people cant salavate with no money in their pocket.. |

They will also be doing statues, I got an insiders tip from an employee at SDCC.
I couldn't order so many, or as many, if they were to release say 6-8 a year, 4-6 I can possibly do, but I would definitely have to limit how many I can order of each.
