1. What was the issue that caused the Movie DVD pack to be canceled and will we see any of the figures planed for that set released?
2. There were some great characters and molds later on in the line that a lot of collector, on the internet anyway, seem to look down on. Will some of these be remade with better colors that might appeal to both those that didn't like the original figure and those that want some of those figures remade? The Deep Six from the TRU exclusive Sea Command 3-pack is a good example of this. 3. Distribution and supplies of single carded figures still seems to be a problem even a year into the line. I personal have only seen one case restocked in six weeks visiting seven Wal-Mart's in seven different towns in a 70 mile radius. It was said in a previous Q&A that this problem was being addressed but it almost seems to have gotten worse. What is being done to address this problem? 4. Now many more single carded figures after wave 10 (wave 6 of 2008) are planned before the break for the movie line and what are the plans for the Modern Era line after the movie? 5. What are the differences in the Hall of Heroes figures? Clear Zartan? Corrected Flint? Snake Eyes with Timber using the Pyramid of Darkness Snake Eyes mold in black?

1. Will we see carded versions of figures who have been issued in comic packs and vehicles such as Breaker and Tripwire?
2. Will prices be reduced eventually when it is appropriate? 3. Will the movie line of carded figures be packaged in the same traditional style we all love? 3. A figure carrier? 4. An accessory pack?

As others have asked, when are we going to see the original 13 finally done? Also how about redoing the following 13: Grunt, Grand Slam, Breaker, Short-Fuze, and especially Steeler.

Are you going to a have wide release of troop building battle packs like star wars or are you going to keep them as exclusives?

Yeah whats up with the Zarana and Zandar figures as well? I would realy like to finish up my Dreadnoks collection. Also can we get the Terrordrome base and Hisstanks with the red tint instead of the clear tint?

It seems to me that about 95% of the five packs have been cobra oriented such as the cobra legions, the upcoming extreame conditions packs etc. it seems to me thesewouldbe a greatway forus toget some joes that we may never geton a single card for example do a jungle pack with
recondo pathfinder outback tunnel rat and claymore or footloose or an urban assult set with shockwave lowlight law&order mayday? bullet proof? i just feel that the joe team has got the short end of the stick on 5 packs |

What is taken into consideration during the decision making process when choosing which parts to re-use for new upcoming figures?
I totally understand the process of having to re-use certain parts when making new figures in order to keep costs down. It was originally done way back in 1982, so it is welcomed again for this updated anniversary line. I was wondering if the production team tries to make the best effort to re-use parts that closely resemble their original counterparts, or do they use whatever is available at the time? For instance why was the 25th Anniversary single carded Major Bludd figure made by reusing the 25th Anniversary Zartan parts? I applaud Hasbro for the effort in trying to produce our favorite characters, but many of us here thought he would have looked much better using the 25th Anniversary Hiss Tank Driver's torso. That torso resembles the original Major Bludd figure more than the Zartan torso did. I do appreciate the fact that we are getting a better version of Major Bludd in the upcoming online exclusive Cobra Desert Assault Squad as well as a DVD battle pack. Do you have any plans on releasing that version on a single card later on down the line? I was also wondering about the choices that were made when re-using the parts from the Flash/Grand Slam mold for the Hiss Driver, AVAC and Tripwire. Why did the Hiss Driver retain the grid like pattern on his upper arm pads, but the upcoming AVAC figure has them smoothed down? As for Tripwire why does he have the grid like pattern on his Torso as well as his upper arm pads when the original figure was smooth? Couldn't you have just used the same smoothed down parts as you did with AVAC for Tripwire? Another figure which comes to mind is Steeler. The original figure has sleeves, gloves, and a collared shirt, but the updated one that was just released is missing these features. Is there any way this figure could have been made to look more like his original figure with parts that have already been made. There are a few figures that have been made that have the above mentioned parts, so why not re-use those parts to make a better Steeler? Ok that's all for now. Sorry if it sounds like I am nitpicking every little thing here, but sometimes it's upsetting when a customizer takes a Hasbro release and makes the changes to the figure that Hasbro didn't do. Sometimes their final product ends up being the figure we all wished was released in the first place. Don't get me wrong though because I'm very happy with whatever effort gets us a new figure. I just wish sometimes the re-used parts were used better. P.S. Do you think we will ever get a back screw put into the figures later on down the line?

Have you thought of releasing the bigger sets like the Flagg, Terror Dome as exclusives to companies that might want to take a chance on selling them.
