Hasbro already said the Resolute figure will be in scale w/ the 25th, but does anybody know if they will be an animated design like The Clone Wars figures or Animated Transformers? I hope not, and since Resolute is Web based and aimed at an older audience, hopefully they won't worry about the kids and give them an animated style even though that seems to be Hasbro's trend lately.

Has the official word on this been stated by Hasbro yet?

I'll have to look for it, but I believe the official word is that the figures will be "realistic" and able to fit in with existing 25th figures.

Elsewhere on the board is this thread

http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ming-wave.html

discussing a possible new wave discovered in the Wal-Mart system. Assuming it was legitimately found in their system, it looks like we'll be getting a single-carded Falcon, an Omega Force Zap, and some other repaints. Now would this be the last wave for 2008, or one of the three for 2009? Aside from the Zap, no work was done by this new wave on chiseling down everyone's wanted lists before the big movie push.

C'mon, Cover-Girl! C'mon Recondo! C'mon Ripcord, Blowtorch, and Lowlight! We only have three, maybe two waves left!

(Haven't read ALL 8 pages)

If my guess is right, any character that appears in the comic pack comics will be released either on single card, or Comic pack set...We're getting a Cutter who is in the T/X set, a Tripwire who made an appearance in the FF/SS set. Sneak Peek, Outback, Worms, and Shockwave appeared in the IGD/IGT set, Dusty who was in the Falcon/Nem Imm set...

So yeah, any characters of those new Hama scribed issues will probably be released.

Trust me...i think that woud be awesome...and you may very well be right, but there just aren't enough waves to go around in my opinion...
that would also mean we'd be getting Slice and Dice from FF/SS and Keel Haul from SW/CH...and i just don't see that happening.

Hasbro loves a pattern...so my theory is that the last wave of the year will be similar to last year's last wave of the year...single packs of figures from other formats...thus the Torch, Ripper, SS, FF, etc. in the Wal-Mart computers rounding out Wave 12.

since w.12 and 13 are in the Wal-Mart Computer system already, this would likely be w. 14, although it seems a little light at only 4 figures...

Blowtorch is in 12 or 13 according to the Wal-mart computer listings.

Many times, the figures will be in 25th scale with 25th design and aesthetics. Aside from using the uniforms from the series, the figures will basically be an extension of the existing line and will ship in the same assortments.
