"Exxon also posted higher than expected profits. Their CEO attributed half of the increase to GI Joe fans traveling from store to store frantically searching for toys that were not in stock." RAR Daily News

Oil companies don't set the price of oil. Back to economics 101 you go!

Indiana Jones figures would sell better if I saw some of the later waves, not just Shia Labouf keeping those pegs nice & toasty warm.

I want my Short Round!!!

Just how much more expensive can the single carded figures get? $8.99 is the highest I've found at KB. I love my collection and I need my Joe fix, but it's getting very close to not being worth the price tag. If they go up any more I'm going to have to bail out and go back to collecting the vintage ARAH stuff.....it's cheaper.

Just when are these new Indy figures gonna hit? Somebody made a comment that the old wave were flying off the shelf. I think you might have been kidding, because they are clogging every shelf I see. The hoopla has died down and I don't see wave 2 and 3 being anything but a limited release, if at all (think Marvel Legends Showdown wave 4)........guess that's the same reason I haven't found the new Joe comic packs. There ain't no room on the shelf for them. The old waves are hording the space.

do what i do at times when im fed up with that. Go grab a big plastic tote, dump all those peg warmers in it then go put the tote back so the shelves are empty. Eventually they may find the tote but if they search for it as hard as they look for things for us when we're instores it'll be a while :>

Hasbro raises toy prices: Effective Sept. 1

http://www.reuters.com/article/marke...0080721?rpc=44

Could be the reason Target.com has the vehicles for more than $24.99

It's going to come to a point where they price alot of people out of their products.
