Not happy with the SS answer but I guess one can't expect to know everything before the series starts. Then it wouldn't be a shock. Inside art is pretty good but that's just a guess from the B&W stuff.

I'm in San Diego and I was the one who asked the last question regarding the Marvel run and Miniseries vs. ongoing series. Those seemed like burning questions here on the boards and I knew no one was going to ask them. That panel was heavily advertised as a Transformers panel. It was advertised in the program schedule and it was apparent with the amount of TF fans present.
I only knew that GI joe was going to be discussed there was because I stopped by IDW and asked about GI Joe. They told me to come to the Transformers panel to find out. I had gone to Hasbro booth and ran into Larry Hama. He also told me to go to the IDW Transformers panel. After sitting through 3/4 of it and noticing that practically no one had an interest in Joes, I felt it my duty to go up to the mike and ask your burning questions, fellow tankers. And that posting from TFW isn't accurate. I asked how many of the Marvel comics they were going to reprint. They whispered to each other if they could reveal anything to us. Then, they asked the crowd if we wanted all of them. We few Joes gave a boastful, "Hells yeah!" The IDW response was, "Well then, all of them it is." So there you go. Let's see if they follow through. Also, Larry Hama's answer to my question of whether it was going to be a series of miniseries was rather interesting. IDW acknowledged that it will be ongoing but Hama clarified that there would be miniseries with special story arcs. Hope that helps, guys. Gaelinic

Oh yeah, if that's Robert Atkin's art then it's waaay better than the cover wrapping around it!

The insides look great. The action also looks hot. Hopefully Hama catchs the magic and feel of the original series and no French Snake-Eyes
