Because its a vehicle thats been in demand for years and one people haven't been able to get mib at retail for years. Best vehicle in its size class in the anniversary line thus far.

I for one will be chomping at the bit for a Firebat. Here's hoping the I have a chance at nabbing one - I'm getting pretty cheesed off with seeing that "SOLD OUT" sign everytime a new Joe item is released. Seriously, it's becomming rather predictable...

but it doesnt do anything. at all. It carries one figure. doesnt shoot. has no rotating turrets. what does it have? do the wings fold like in the cartoon?

yeah, the wings folded so it could fit inside the terrordrome. I had it as a kid and it was just fun, yeah it "did nothing" but it is just an awesome design and looks slick on the toy shelf or in your hand running through the house making jet engine noises!

Well, I argue that anything nicknamed the Pocket Rocket is possibly the coolest vehicle ever...

There was a brief run on either Sunday or Saturday where the Firebat was back up for preorder on BBTS. I guess someone dropped their order in favor of the EE prices.
