Ridiculous Target Price Hike
Okay! So I go down to a local Target and find two wave 9 figures. I go to the checkout only to see that I paid 7.99 for each!!! That's right 7.99 each. No mistake on the DCPI number or anything. I was so excited that, unfortunately for me, I didn't notice till I got home. What the hell is going on!!?? Anyone else seeing this? I saw a thread for a Walmart hike, but now this? If this keeps up I will have to stop buying!

They're going to kill off the casual buyer if they keep this up. It's bad enough that I had to severely cut back on my toy spending thanks to insane gas prices. The higher in price that these go, the less likely I am going to be collecting them all.

No kidding, when I saw the price, it made me so mad. It's bad enough most of us invest lots of time and gas, and then the price goes up? Again?

well aint this a big Frackaroo. now with the announcement that wal-mart is going higher you would think competeing chains would go LOWER PEOPLE LOWER!!! dont these execs having brains?

Why would it be higher than the suggested retail price?! F*it I'm preordering from now on if this is true.

you know it could be a one time whoopsydaisy. I went to a Burgerking within the last 2 weeks and ordered 3 valuemeals kingsized for me, my bro, and his friend, and they total came out to 8.99. which was awesome. It may just be a one time thing that the PC Charged and they might cash it. then again bush could fart oil so....who knows

Remember back in February Wal-Mart raised their price above the 5.99 retail price to 6.84 This sucks if it happens again. I saw a thread with someone saying their WM had a price hike too. If both Target and Wal-Mart raise prices again that is bullshit. Anyone ever notice that Target and Wal-Mart never raised their price on the comic packs seems kind of funny that single card figures have raised in price a few times now, but comic packs stay the same.

Hmm, well I hope this is the case. If not, I will definitely preorder in the future. I mean, I have been preordering, and then canceling my orders when I find them at retail, because of the extra shipping costs. But now, it's about to equal out.
