Toys R Us USA Combines with Toys R Us Canada to form Toys R Us North America

Toys R Us USA Combines with Toys R Us Canada to form Toys R Us North America
In a post over at www.TFW2005.com we have learned that Toys R US USA has made a deal with it's Canadian counterpart to become one corporation. The new entity will be called Toys R US North America.

This could be good news for Canadian fans when it comes to hunting down G.I. Joe items.

That's awesome news indeed! Maybe pricing might be better too for us Canadians. The 25th anniversary stuff still hasn't showed up at retail up here either so here's hoping this changes things.

Yeah, I was gonna say...we can't get them here in the USA at TRU either! What are they going to do, team up for twice the nothing? lol

i'm not sure of the benefit or the outcome of this, but i recall the TRU-Amazon partnership that eventually separated later on.

as to whether or not that this might me good, it is beyond me.

As a Canadian Joe fan living in Quebec, I think that most of my issues involve crap pricing and products not being available due to exclusivity and/or language laws.

I hope this will help us Canucks as distribution is still terrible.
