Well Crystal Ball was already mentioned at last year's JoeCon as getting the 25th/Modern Era treatment so I guess it pans out. Maybe if he's going to be in a comic pack Hasbro can get Stephen King to write the issue since he created the character in the first place.

I thought this was mentioned before too... CB being made.
I hated Crystal Ball as a kid, and appearntly so did everyone else, as I remember him hanging by the truckloads on the pegs at the now long defunct "The Fair" dept stores. He was the #1 "ARAH peg warmer" back in the day... Never bought him. But if they made him for the new Joe line...you can bet I would. |

Crystal Ball is the biggest peg warmer in the history of time. He's the only peg warmer I ever saw or knew of as a kid--every time I went into the store, there would be rows and rows of JUST him.

i think the 87 Joes were pretty solid (Crazylegs, Falcon, Gung-Ho (dress blues), Jinx, Law & Order, Outback and Tunnel Rat were all favorites of mine), but that was a CRAP year for Cobra, the 3 -Vipers from that year are basically the only ones i'd even be a little interested in, and even they'd be pretty far down the list...

Crystal Ball is awesome. I would love to see him made. silly? yes. but his silliness is right in line with Cobra. of course Cobra Commander would recruit a hypnotist -- he would try anything, that's the charm of Cobra Commander.
