I guess I buy them for them, keep Hawk for myself and mail in for Doc

His gloves and boots are indeed blue in the comic; it would've looked better if they'd used a darker blue than on the 5-pack CC. Instead they went lighter.
Sometimes the colors in comics aren't meant to be taken literally. Blue is often meant to represent black (Snake eyes is the best example of this). I think Hasbro might do well to split the difference between 100% comic-accuracy, and pleasing aesthetics of the actual figure.
Overall, I'm a bit puzzled as to Hasbro's plan for the comic packs. Most figures are (for better or worse) colored like their comic counterparts, except for Hawk, who's closer to his original figure. Don't get me wrong, I want an updated V1 Hawk, it's just kind of inconsistent. |

Good idea. Just how many "crappy repaints" are you willing to buy before you concede that we're probably not going to get new molds for every single character that Hasbro screws up (which, right now, is looking like every single character)?
Or maybe you think that Hasbro's releasing this 25th Anniversary line and will, eventually, re-release the entire thing correctly...?
I can see it now: COME PURCHASE WAVE 10! IT'S WAVE 1 DONE CORRECTLY THIS TIME! |

My six year old son prefers them also - he likes his figures to be able to get into vehicles and have snipers able to hide in between the couch cushions. lol
I also like the emblem on the helmet. Is it just me...or does the comic pack helmet look different from the other? (besides the obvious lack of an emblem) The helmet looks like it is longer on the sides and back to me. |

IT'S WAVE 1 DONE CORRECTLY THIS TIME! | Well they did it once before when they re-released the T-crotch figures with O-rings and to be honest....I was very happy they did. As for the new figures, yes CC is way too light blue, they should have used the same dark blue they did for the single carded version.
I REALLY like the blue Snake Eyes and Hawk, the others I'm still a little undecided on if they'll be turned into customs or not |

They tried to reinvent the wheel once before, and it failed miserably. I can't help but wonder why Hasbro can't seem to make a better product than they did twenty-five years ago, or how they keep screwing up so horribly. |

I can see CC saying it now "I was going to rule the world if it weren't for those meddling Joes!!!" |

Oh, and the accessories are pretty much sniper rifles and nothing more.
I'm glad you like the new figures, but I can't ignore the blaring flaws. |
