LOL! That's about what it amounts to. I know the forida joe hunting network wouldn't be what it is without people "stashing" for fellow collectors.

there have been long threads on that subject, can we leave that for there and keep this about the vehicles and not collecting practices?

Stashers are asswipes too. They ruin the whole thing for everybody.
If you stash something, the store still thinks it is in their system, and they won't reorder until the stock gets low unless they do a manual check and update the inventory. (which is rare). I don't know how many times I have seen people hide stuff, usually because they think it will be valuable and they want to run home to ebay to check and see how much they can get for it. Of course, these are usually hotwheels "collectors." Lift up the bottom shelves in a walmart, you will probably find some toys that a stasher put there. But the worst are the people who hide stuff in the store until it goes on clearance. Thieves. Last edited by hurricane; 06-22-2008 at 11:23 AM.. |

Wow, I actually wanted to join this site and post intelligent topics, and have civilized conversations about my hobby, but after reading these topics that go un-touched by the MODs (are there any Mods here?) with the constant bitching, complaining, crying and just bad behavior this place seems more and more like a place for whiny little noobs with nothing better to do. For those of you who dont add to this nonsense, thank you. To all the others (including people who "dont trust people" to the "if I dont have it first and you do, youre a scalper" to the other babies, grow up or MOVE ON.
It seems that the mods here just do not care, and let these morons continue to post and ruin topics, start flame wars, and complain every chance they get. This place needs to get with the times, as Im sure Im not alone in my feelings. The ONLY reason I come here is to check the sightings thread, but after all this BS Im not sure Ill even to that anymore. C-ya "grow up and move on" applies to you also... complaining about complaining? (the hypocrisy is lost on this one.) nobody asked you to read all these posts, and even less people care that you want to leave. |

"Hey, where are the mods? Why don't they stop these MORONS from breaking the rules? I mean, arguing and stuff is wrong aint it?? Of course it is, so let me call them names.. because that is fine."

I am ignoring all the stuff on this thread I don't want to bother reading. Only problem is with all the garbage people have written, I don't feel like digging through to find on-topic posts.
Have there been any recent findings of wave 1 G I Joe vehicles at brick and mortar retail? I haven't seen any signs in central NJ yet. |

This thread started out as some people reporting about finding the vehicle packs and has now evolved (or is it devolved?) into a scalper/stasher thread. I liked this thread because I was curious to see what parts of the country were getting the vehicle packs, unfortunatey I can't remeber the last time I saw a post that indicated a found vehicle pack. Can we just put aside the petty squabbling and focus on the purpose of this thread? Has anybody else out there found the vehicle packs? |
