Does the backpack without shoe pegs even have a peg to put it on the figure's back? Judging from the shadow cast by the two pieces, it appears that it either does not or it is shorter.
It is a lucky day for sure, but there have been many other cases where prototype figures make their way into a package and onto store shelves. So I don't think it is a variation find, but instead a proto find.
Could you post front and back images of the figure? What date code was pressed into the back of the card? There may be differences there that you won't spot unless you compare it to another.
I'm going to say that there is no need to hurt ourselves trying to find this. The rest of us aren't likely to find it. |
