So seems once this godawful movie hits its gonna be just like transformers where its gonna be ugly new characters with classic names. Man Farkin hasbro. Cant just have two seperate lines nooooo gotta integrate this crappy movie look instead of havin movie toys and the classic styled. oh and speakin of classics where ther frag are the supposed new transformers classics? Stupid anitmated stuff is out but not the classics line we were promised.

Hasbro: The plan right now is to continue a classic based line until movie. At movie timing, the line will shift to a movie line look and focus; but classic characters like the ones you called out will be making appearances in this new line. The figures will all be based on 25th anniversary styling, so you will get the quality you are accustomed to. Quote:

I would think that Wal Mart exclusives should be easier to find than the Target ones. Wal Marts only outnumber Targets like 100 to 1...

The thing is, Hasbro does not say above that the classic figures will be packaged as they are now; it says a movie-line focus. Are the classic figures going to have original or original-inspired artwork as they do now?

Nothing about making the classic figures look like they came from the movie. Simply that they will continue to release classic figures here and there in the movie line. Think Star Wars. They'll have classic figures alongside the movie figures, in the movie packaging, but they'll remain "classic" in the sense of their outfits and looks. I love you and VIPER 48. Serious. In a manly way of course. And as far as the packaging goes... beats me, but I bet we'll see it early next year. Its honestly too early to say it won't be like the current packaging though...
