Some of us were speculating regarding this topic a few weeks ago to whether or not the upcoming revision cases with re-issues would sport the new cards once we saw the new version of the Viper. Well, it looks to be true. Kinda sucks for the completest tho, if this happens since it'll be like starting from scratch. I'm pretty sure that production on the 25th cards has stopped. Whatever is in circulation at this moment is most likely it.
I think it's a good thing however, for the people that started from the beginning as the 25th figs. will finally start to be worth something, while the guy who just wants the actually figure can still get it.

BBTS or Brians Toys had a set of Red cards with long sabers for $30. You can't give them away now. I know those figs suck & these joes are far superior but in 10 years will there be a difference? Shinny foil or flat, 25th logo or not, these are the same types of changes done in the past. Tripple win, statues, face paint givaway offers. I don't know. I don't have it in me to collect every discrepancy in the 25th line. |

Although, HTS don't send stuff overseas so it'll be the dreaded Ebay for me. At least I may have a chance at nabbing one at a non-bonkers price.

However, once you read the rules around "if" you can get one... no way! It goes something like this: You have to pay mega bucks to be there on the early day. You stand in line (probably sleep there over-night on the street) just to be there to get handed a lottery ticket that "may" be drawn for you to buy a max of two-no guarantees. That is crap!
Oh yeah... and there's the other unspoken stuff you have to do... bring your lube for the vendors, kneepads for the SDCC temps handing out the tickets and your french tickler for the Hasbro Execs... that's all just to earn favor towards getting a lotto ticket that may be called?!?! Count me out! |
