New Listings at Target?

Since we're all engaging in baseless speculation, I'm hoping that the Joe ultimate battle pack has a Joe tank (hopefully Mauler) with a Steeler that actually looks like a Steeler, and throw in a Short Fuze and Zap as well (since Hasbro said they were looking for ways to get us the last two of the original 13). Let's throw a Hiss Tank and driver or two in there as well. And a pony.

I would think that the Ultimate Battle Pack would probably either be a compilation- Destro, CC, SE, Duke, Scarlett, SS, etc, etc with some accessories and what not, and maybe a vehicle or two. I don't see it being filled with anything TOO NEW. Granted, I could always be wrong, and here's hoping I am.

I could also see the combined vehicle packs though. It'd be a good way to get some AWE Strikers and other check out lane exclusives out there.

I am really hoping the ultimate battlepack will blow us away. It would suck to get something like all the vehicles in one pack or a bunch of figs we already have. It wont sell if thats the case and then hasbro is back to thinking we are cheapwads. They need to release something awesome for that price. For $60 we could get 12 figs... 6 vehicles and 6 figs... big playset piece with some vehicles and figs..

Heres an idea Hasbro............Put them on cards.....stop with dumb repaints for two seconds......and add them to a wave.....there you go problem is solved.......and your idea guys make the big bucks go figure...............

for those of you scratching your heads on this one.....

highwayman had an "18-wheeler" that was constructed so that the cab was the cockpit of a Gazelle helicopter, and the tail of the copter was in the trailer. itd open up and the gazelle would detach and leave the rig for flight against the baddies of the week.

even as a kid, i wondered how the hell the rig could turn with the attached tail of the copter running the length from the cab to trailer.

but that didnt make it any less cool.

I'm thinking the ultimate battle pack may be one of two things. It is either a recreation of one or part of the new GI Joe vs. Cobra ads we've seen. You know the one with trouble bubbles and hiss tank coming at you, or the new one with armadillos, sharc, and conquest.

The other idea I have is that it will be a re-release of some of the Target exclusive vehicles with repaints.

If I remember correctly, and I don't collect Star Wars figs., those Star Wars battle packs are usually just repaints of past figures placed in interesting poses. Based on that, I don't think we'll get something new. I'm thinking everything in these battle-packs will be repaints. However, there may be one item in there that will turn out new.
