The Ultimate battlepack probably have a vehicle involved. The two Star Wars UBP from last year had scout walkers in them, plus a couple of large set pieces and 6-8 figures.
As for the larger vehicle it -could- be a medium airplane. Hasbro has been mighty kind to us on these vehicle prices. I figure that those molds, even the slightly retooled versions were so profitable back in the 80s that this is simply gravy for them. If they were still paying for molds I would bet we wouldn't see vehicles at this point, not until the movie anyway.
Pure speculation of course.

i also agree with those who have speculated that the Large Vehicle is likely the Conquest. as for the small vehicle, it could be one of the ones we already know about, or one we haven't heard about at all, since the SHARC (potential small vehicle) was paired with the Firebat (another potential small vehicle) in the early preorder post that revealed these vehix.

and guys... this rampant speculation on contents of the Ultimate Battle Pack... sheesh... sounds like dreamin' to me.

Could this be some Snow Serpents with a Cobra Commander in a snow suit & a S.N.A.K.E. or two?!
$60 for a few figs and two SNAKEs.........thatd be a bit much.

unless target would be trying to recover the funds lost over the $10 check lane vehciles.
if i had to conjecture, i would think it was a set combining some of the dvd sets. ?

there better be some enticing extras in there, if that is the case... since it is $20 more than buying the 2 separately.

With this line being so collector oriented, why not just all 4 vehicle packs in one?

heh. anyone remember "highwayman" with sam jones (the man who let Flash Gordon ruin any career he may have had) and jacko (the man who let being jacko ruin any career he may have had)?
OY!

for those of you scratching your heads on this one.....

highwayman had an "18-wheeler" that was constructed so that the cab was the cockpit of a Gazelle helicopter, and the tail of the copter was in the trailer. itd open up and the gazelle would detach and leave the rig for flight against the baddies of the week.

even as a kid, i wondered how the hell the rig could turn with the attached tail of the copter running the length from the cab to trailer.

but that didnt make it any less cool.

Yeah for only 2 - 4 Snow Serpents, but not 6 - 8. Which I was thinking, a Snow Serpent army lot with Cobra Commander in a parka. Or 4 S.N.A.K.E.s, for a snow cave diorama. How RAD would that be?

We now have a Snake Eyes in a parka. Now we just need Cobra Commander. And a Baroness, Destro, Hasbro would make a killing on releasing a ton of snow characters. The Dreadnoks too, Dreadnoks in parkas on motorcycles.

All they'd have to do is do away with the diapers and improve the figures n' I'd be all over these. As much as I pick on Hasbro, I really do have good ideas to offer them. I'll be waiting patiently for my check to arrive.
