Really? I think that will kill it. I think Joe collectors have smaller toy funds than Matty collectors (just by observation on boards) so it could be a real turn off for those who couldn't do the upfront. That's what I like about Matty's system. You're committed, but you only pay for what you get each month.

I'll just buy them off ebay. I'm not gonna join the stupid club & get stuck paying for figures that I don't want every month.

Yeah, what I wouldn't want it to be is a graveyard for canceled figs, which is certainly what the first two indicate. I mean, it's cool if we get the rest of the canceled figs, especially NF Falcon. But I'd like them to put some tooling dollars toward it -- unless it's just dirt cheap to subscribe, then it's fine as an outlet for outtakes.

What is really great about a sub is that it ensures a steady flow of figures. Everybody gets so ornery around here during dry spells. You may not like this month's figures, but at least you know two would be coming every month. That's good!
Oh, and I hope those are ARAH-style cards. |

I would assume you're committed to buying all of the figs, hence the subscription. But you can always sell/trade off the figs you don't want.
I'm sorry you're on a limited budget, but you're complaining about more figures being available? This is a bad thing? I don't get that. How is it different from retail? |

im not sure what you mean....are you mad because certain characters didnt make the cut? I mean...we voted for them?...Ive done the fans choice stuff with Marvel Universe figures ( run by Hasbro) and its worked out great so far, we got Luke Cage, Constrictor and Archangel, and more!

I'm fairly certain it won't be Duke and Snake Eyes. Those are their admitted retail flagships. I definitely see this as a way to get the otherwise unmarketable figures in the hands of collectors. This is definitely a nice overture on Hasbro's part and I give them made props. Let's just see the execution. But I'm gonna stay positive and preach the hell out of this.
