Well then I guess it's those other sites that don't talk to Fred I need to have a word with then ;) |

Here's the answers from Action Figure Insider:
http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/p...?p=83763#83763 Q1. Will we ever get something similar to the Star Wars VOTC cards where Joes are packaged in true repro vintage packaging? (The current cards are close but: Logo is too small, silver foil instead of white, no J-hook, warning label on an outside clamshell etc.) A: Thanks for the suggestion, we will look into it. Q2. Is the second Cobra 5 pack an exclusive or will it be available everywhere? A: Everywhere! Q3. Any plans for a battle-pack or collector's set featuring the characters from this comic? (Snake eyes, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, 3 Red ninjas, Destro, Hooded Cobra Commander and Cobra Troopers) A: This will be one of the things we reveal at Joe Con. Q4. Any chance we could see a GI Joe line in 2008 similar to Superhero Squad/Galactic Heroes? A: No plans for 2008…but maybe beyond. Q5. Will the upcoming Zartan figure be coming with his "Joe adventure team" mask and be cast in the "turn green in the sunlight" plastic like the original figure? A: Yes and Yes. (Personally I don't think Hasbro understood the meaning behind the last question. I thought that only the face changed color and that was after you ran it under hot or cold water) Last edited by Shogi; 08-20-2007 at 07:55 PM.. |

The answers seems to imply that the 25th style will go on into next year so, yay.

Cool Toy Review: Will there be more variations such as Snake Eyes' two different wolves? Will variations be limited to a recoloring of accessories, like two colors for Shipwreck's parrot, or will they be something more substantial that actually enhances the figures, maybe Night/Tiger Force versions?
Hasbro: Check out Wave 3 for a couple more variants. Changes could be subtle or whole color changes...we really want to personalize it by figure. Quote:

Unfortunately not all of the sites communicate with us, so we're limited there...we also do the right thing and open up the questions to forum members to find out what people want to know. So, if the forum members continue to submit repeated questions, well...we try to filter those out, but we want folks to feel like we're asking their questions. Justin |

Justin Looking at this rounds questions, I really can only find 3 questions that are almost exactly the same (There are still a good number of vehicle questions like "can we expect to see this or that vehicle" that I'm not counting from all the rounds, even though Hasbro has said no vehicles for the time being) Round two had about 2 repeats (Mostly about Flint's gloves ) I guess it just seems that there are a lot of similar questions being asked that Hasbro responds to the same way so it winds up feeling like more repeat questions than there really are (IE:One site will ask if comic created characters like Candy Appel, Hard Master, Soft Master will be made and another site asks if the comic packs will have obscure characters) Both questions are definately different since one talks about the comic packs but there's still a similarity there, that and the way I've been keeping up on new info for the 25th makes it seem like more of the questions have already been asked |

Justin I think Shogi was referring to the sites that don't communicate with you, Fred and the other admins. |

The G.I. JOE COLLECTORS' CLUB sent five more questions to the HASBRO team for the bi-monthly Q&A series. In this section, you will find the list of submission questions, along with the answers as provided by the company:
GIJCC Question 1: Who are the 8-inch figures listed as Wrecking Ball and Zanzabar? Hasbro Answers: They were two figure concepts for a construction worker and pirate in the 8'' line. With the success of the 25th anniversary we put them on hold to focus on the 3 3/4'' line. GIJCC Question 2: What company has the rights to release the G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 series (Season 1 & 2) on DVD? Hasbro Answers: Hasbro owns the rights and has put many of the shows on our GIJoe.Com website. GIJCC Question 3: What are the 25th Anniversary figures that will have deco or color variations this year? Hasbro Answers: Wave 1 Snake Eyes with Timber is the first…look for a couple more in Wave 3 which will be annouced at JoeCon. GIJCC Question 4: When will we see changes to the 25th Anniversary figures so they can actually "sit" in vehicles? Hasbro Answers: We are working on this right now and hope to see results in early 2008. GIJCC Question 5: If the Wal-Mart exclusive 12-inch Adventure Team figures are successful, would you consider releasing Mike Power (Atomic Man) and Bullet Man? Hasbro Answers: Anything is possible, but nothing is planned right now.
