This Is How I'd Make The Movie!!

JUST BORED & DECIDED TO MAKE THIS THREAD ON HOW I'D MAKE THE MOVIE.. iM GONNA KEEP IT REAL SHORT & SIMPLY..

MOVIE STARTS OFF with random terrorist acts around the world by a not well known group calling themselves Cobra... The arms dealer known as Destro is believed to be the main source of weaponry that this group is gettin supplied from.. The next we know it.. They get very powerful & have a full army backing them... Thats when GI Joe get s formed.. the get the best of the best military specialists & the original 13 are born... As far as Cobra Commander is concerned.. the whole movie he is in charge & making demands just like in the cartoons... Yet his origin & background are never told .. keep a mystery.. through out the movie.. there are different missions happening with different characters all over the world... for instance.. they could have a scene where Say Duke & Scarlett go to some counrty to investigate & run into Firefly & some Cobra troops.. big battle scene ensues .. or SnakeEyes goes on a mission & heads off with StormShadow.. There would be any big background storys to them.. maybe hints... but not really a big deal or any side plots happeneing .. I think the movie would be sooo much better if it turned out that way...

plus as far as uniforms go.. keep it 100 % like the originals.. just updated for today & look real as hell...

Just my simple take on what it could be.. Ill add a lil more later.. I hate typing

the jist of it sounds great to me...i am mostly alll for the origial costumes..i hate their new looks...too bad a true fan wasn't making this movie

Sounds feasible and better than what Hollywood is making. I'm gonna post my "treatment" at some point.

There's a lot of speculation and no actual 'narrative' here. No beginning, middle, or end....movies tend to need to have those things.

I definitely wouldn't want to see that, as I've never been that fond of the GI Joe cartoon. I read the comics first and just couldn't make the jump over to the toon.

Why couldn't they have just done an adaption of "Operation: Lady Doomsday"?

judging by how short the "idea" was, i'd say it was kind of a rough draft?...but you knew that, right?

Now that I could deal with. That was a great story and it did a good job introducing all the crucial characters. I mean, they could swap out some of the Joes for other Joes, but the story could remain untouched more or less.

And it wouldn't have taken a complete re-write of Joe history to insert Destro and Stormshadow into that story.

I always loved how it was an origin story for G.I. Joe, but Cobra was already going full-force. G.I. Joe was formed to deal with Cobra. Cobra needs no back-story.
