Why would they? He was a voiceless ninja in a military action movie. Had he been more commando badass, then you can argue it. To me it seemed like he was just there to fight Storm Shadow. Not hat there's anything wrong with that, that's my five year olds favorite part of the film. But he is outta place in this film. And as others have said, you couldn't not have him or the hard core fans would be more up in arms about it. I loved the movie for what it was and I look forward to the sequel.

no, that would have made you happy. last I checked, you are just you, not everybody else that likes G.I. Joe.
not to mention the very important fact that you are ignoring --- that the filmmakers kept Snake Eyes in and Paramount, for all their efforts, didn't get their way. |

If they left out SS, then SE could have been more commando and we wouldn't have the whole SE/SS storyline. Certain posters always like to complain about SE, but not SS. I don't get it. You can't have that storyline without the both of them.

No SE. Wow, I'll stick to the finer arts of Cheech and Chong's pass time than smoke whatever Paramount, Hasbro and any other fan on the Tank who believes he wasn't needed. Funny jokes on the Tank today.

Paramount not wanting Snake Eyes still isn't as bad as the asinine and unimaginitive ideas for the movie and delusional perspective of the fans. at least execs at Paramount have an excuse -- they don't know G.I. Joe.
well, I guess Joe fans have an excuse too, because they apparently don't have single ounce of imagination, creativity or any knowledge of movie making or story telling in general, hence the mental dependency on just reliving the same experience over and over that is cried for. new ideas, new experience bad! it's like my daughter, she enjoys watching the same Yo Gabba Gabba DVD over and over again, because that's what children's brains do because they like the comfort of repetition. mature brains generally seek out new experiences. but, hey, who would ever confuse a toy collectors mind for a mature brain, correct? so Paramount not knowing the importance of SE's is the Joe fan equivalent of voicing what should be in a movie and what would make a good story. That's really too bad that the execs in the studios only see the dollar signs and don't appreciate the core essence of what makes a licensed property such a cultural phenomenon. I'm glad that there were people who stood up for GI Joe. It's too bad that the movie has divided so many fans. Personally, I enjoyed the movie. I liked the fresh update on Cobra's forces, as well as GI Joe's. Nevertheless, I'm glad that the studio's influence wasn't enough to change things as essential as Snake Eyes in all black and silent.
