from the listing it all sounds.....interesting but some things just urk me...maybe i need to see actual stills from the film or concept artwork but to quote a line that has been spoken in all 6 star wars movies " i have a bad feeling about this"

General Hawk -sounds like a good figure

Duke - Regular Military Gear-hopefully close to his established look

Duke - Officer Dress Uniform -could be cool looking

Duke - Accelerator Armor-unsure but seems cheesy

Scarlett - Accelerator Armor-same as above

Ripcord - Accelerator Armor-same as above

Ripcord - Regular Military Gear -i wonder if he is still a paratrooper?

Personally, I'll take black over dark blue for the live-action film. And I'd still call them Cobra troopers or Vipers.

That's just me though.

BTW: someone said that "Ana Lewis" is apparently The Baroness.

Another bad vibe I get from this list is apparently Cobra isn't in this movie at all. Just MARS and Destro. I thought THAT wasn't in the script anymore, either?

Just because they're Vipers, doesn't mean they're COBRA Vipers.

Where's the Cobra Trooper figure? Cobra officer? Thought this movie was gonna be about G.I. Joe VS Cobra?

It's an origin of Cobra and Cobra Commander. Don't fret.

In the first game storyline Shang Tsung is it, everyone works for him. In MK II you find out about Shao Khan and that Shang Tsung works for him.

Oh and I still say it should be Roadblock and NOT Heavy Duty

I hope that if there are none in the movie, that we at least get some new mold jets in the movie line, with the movie aesthetic but based on the classic designs. Like a new Skystriker, with canards, futuristic look, maybe some stealth features, but still immediately recognizable as a Skystriker of the future.

At that point we would be using F-22s, F-35s, F-18s and a few older craft. The f-14s has already been fully phased out. The only country that uses F-14s still, and most are grounded, is Iran. We shredded all of ours so they couldn't be sold for parts to Iran. Gotta love a crappy end to an iconic fighter.

Thats a discussion for another thread, I'll just say this, much of the speculation on the Iranian F-14 fleet is misinformation, their fleet is not as dismantled nor in poor condition as the news tends to say.

Also, an F-14 with futuristic aesthetic would fit in with the movie aesthetic, regardless of what the US would be using in that timeline. Think about it, Cobra is using the Night Raven, based on the SR-71, in the movie, yet currently the SR-71 is retired.

I would not mind a new Rattler or Skystriker in the movie line, it would be like Wreckage and Arcee in the Transformers movie line:movie aesthetic, new molds/characters, but not in the movie itself, yet fits in the the toy line.
