BUT... wouldn't it be fun if Hasbro released some limited edition ARAH-styled figures from the movie? Kinda like when Hasbro released those 4 vintage figures in the POTF2 days. It was a 4 pack with Luke, Vader, Chewie and... Han? I think.
Maybe Hasbro could release the main characters from the film in ARAH style. Perhaps they could use some older toolings, too. If their budget for such endeavour is limited.

The Doctor, huh? I smell a Dr Who reference in the film, now that Chris is Destro. Otherwise, it sounds okay. A couple of cool ones- Zartan, Cobra Commander, the original Destro, Storm hadow in a suit. The three SE's and a new Scarlett. I'll wait and see what the vipers and Neo-vipers look like. I liked the Neo Vipers in the JVC line. | |

Is that why those who read the script will not discuss anything about Cobra Commander? Is it because that would really be "The last straw"?
Another bad vibe I get from this list is apparently Cobra isn't in this movie at all. Just MARS and Destro. I thought THAT wasn't in the script anymore, either?
Just because they're Vipers, doesn't mean they're COBRA Vipers.
Where's the Cobra Trooper figure? Cobra officer? Thought this movie was gonna be about G.I. Joe VS Cobra? | |

The "vibe" I get is that Destro is somehow responsible for the creation of Cobra, ultimately proving to have been a mistake. Think of Ra's Al Ghul and Bruce Wayne in Batman Begins. He becomes his mentor and has great plans for him but then Bruce turns against Ra's and "destroys" his temple. Something like that.
Either that or Destro sells stuff to some obscure organization by the name of Cobra, ultimately pledging allegiance to it or becoming controlled by it somehow.
But as far as I remember, Storm Shadow, the Baroness and Zartan all work for Destro.
